First Doctor's Visit

I was one week old on Thursday, and went to my first doctor's appointment. I wanted to look cute, so I wore my dino feet sleeper.


I shouldn't have bothered, the minute I got there the nurse stripped me down naked and put me on the oldest scale you have ever seen - how embarrassing!










The doctor says everything looks good. I have gained a little weight back, but am still not back up to my birthweight. My doctor said at the next visit we will begin talking about shots...whatever those are.

Bath time, yuk!

Look at this face, do I look dirty to you? My parents insisted on giving me a bath today.























I was none too happy about that...I screamed the entire time, except for when they washed my hair. I liked the running water.



But, then I got warmed up in my frog towel - and everything was all better

Arriving home

Here I am in my car seat, ready to go home.

I slept the whole time, but my dad was nervous.

When we got home, we took a little tour.

Mommy and Daddy were happy to finally have me home.

I got to see my room for the first time, but I wasn't tired.

So I sat in my swing for a little while - it is so cool...

One more day in the hospital.

I get to come home soon, but I spent another day in the hospital letting my mom rest up from her big surgery. The nurses all think I am cute, and I think they just make up reasons to come in the room and see me.






I got to spend some quality time today with my Grandmas. They spent all day with me, but I mostly just slept.



I have learned how to suck my thumbs - either one is fine but I like the left one best.

I am looking more and more like my mom everyday. They tell me I am going to change fast - so I will
post lots of pictures.

My First Few Days

Here is me with my parents, we are a family now!

My Grandpa Eye can't wait to take me fishing.He usually doesn't hold new babies, but he made an exception for me. I guess he figures I have a hard head like my daddy.

I met my Great Grandma Eye for the first time last night.

This morning, I was a little cranky. My Daddy rocked me in the chair so mom could get some sleep. When she woke up, she thought we were cute so she took a picture.

My daddies godparents came to see me today - they gave me my first cowboy hat. I can't wait to wear it so I can look like my Grandpa Big.

I have started to open my eyes now and then, they are still blue.

Best of all, I have found some pretty comfy places to sleep.

What A Day...

My Mom and Dad got an early start today,
they had to be at the hospital at 0600.
-I was still breech, so we had a c-section - and
I was born at 0845.

They put me in this ridiculous hat

But trust me, I let them know it was too big!

I was 20 inches long and weighed

8 lbs 12oz

After my bath I found out that I love being swaddled

My Grandpa Biggerstaff posed for a picture with

me, just like he did with my mom when she was born. My mom and I look a lot alike today.

I can't wait to meet everyone!
