Bubbles!!!

I got to go visit my Grandpa and Grandma Eye last weekend. They bought me a new toy – it blows bubbles! I get very excited when someone makes bubbles for me to look at. I am trying to figure out how they work. My Daddy says they are magic – I had assumed that it had something to do with hydrogen bonding between water molecules, creating surface tension – and some kind of surfactant, like soap, to stabilize the bubble through the Gibbs-Marangoni effect….I guess I will get all this stuff figured out someday?

B is for Babies

Hey everybody! I just got back from Vacation. I had a great time - though I am a little tired of my car seat. I got to go to Jackson Hole, Grand Teton, Idaho, Yellowstone, Big Sky, Mt Rushmore, and the Badlands. I have lots of pictures and stories - but I need to get to bed. I was not the only baby out west, and thought I would post some of the pictures I took of other babies I saw while hiking with mommy and daddy.

Chasing Ants

I have been getting ready for my Yellowstone vacation - reading about Bear Grylls in Field and Stream...and chasing bugs around the kitchen. The quality of the video once it was uploaded is not good enough to see the little ant. You will just have to imagine it running for it's little life in front of me (or come by and see the video on daddy's laptop)

Changes

I love going to daycare and playing with the other kids. My teachers sure have a good time playing with me.

I am sitting up on my own now, and pulling up on everything. I love to blow raspberries and am saying mama and dada.

Everyone is a little sad at our house. Aspen and Lily had to go live with another family. I kept breaking out in hives and my eyes were swelling when they were around. Lily and I got along just fine, but Aspen seemed a little put out by having a little boy around. They got to go live on a farm where they can run and play...so it probably worked out for the best.

Happy Easter

I had so much fun at Easter. Again, you can tell I'm my parent's first since I had four easter baskets and, oh, the bunny outfit! You can see my two bottom teeth if you look closely.

My mommy gave me these cool frog and carrot eggs with jelly beans in them. Rattle, rattle, rattle!!

Bath Time

Bath time is so much fun!! I love playing with my toys, especially my ducky. I splash and kick my feet and now I'm even trying to crawl out of my tub. Mommy has to watch me very closely. But if she gets too close, I get her all wet. What fun I have!

6 months old

Happy Valentine's Day

I had a fun Valentine's with my mommy and daddy. I loved opening my presents and reading my new book.

I can sit!

I love to sit in my bouncer - but today it is official, I can sit up on my own!

Supper Time...

...and the eat'n is easy. It is also messy! I like rice, peas, and carrots. I wasn't so into sweet potatoes. My mom decided I needed to try prunes - check out the video and see if you think I liked them as well.

What is so funny?

As you can see, I am taking over the house with my toys. I am a very busy little boy. I can roll over now from my tummy to my back and then roll back to my tummy again.




I got to go to the sports show with my daddy the other day. He let me wear my cammo like we were going to deer camp. Good thing mommy wasn't around!





I talk all the time now. I used to have a funny little laugh - sort of a hugh hugh, but now I have graduated into a full giggle...

Don't tell the doctor...

My mommy has wanted to give me rice cereal since the day I was born. I think somebody told her it would help me sleep through the night or something. The doctor told me I couldn't have it until I was 5 months old. So it was a week or two early...

I love it, even though we made a mess. The video is from the first time, the pictures are from a week later - I think I am getting more on my face each time we try this.

Extended Christmas

It seems like Christmas lasted for two weeks this year...not that I minded. I got to spend a lot of time with my mommy since she was on vacation.
